Ladies Champions
Portsmouth Country Club held its Womens wind-up banquet recently. Kim Greenwood (third from the left) was announced as this years Womens Club Champion. Also pictured above is runner-up; Heather Greenwood, Club Pro; Bill Andrews and Assistant Pro; Scott Fabisak. Kim is Portsmouth Country Clubs youngest club champ and in a difficult match, defeated her mother, Heather, who is a past Club Champion, in a match play event on Labor Day Weekend. The
First Flight division was won by Patty Massey and Senior Club Champion was won
by Spruil Kilgore.
Kim and Heather Greenwood were also the Portsmouth Cup Champions with Kim Scarponi and Karen Dorow as runner-ups. The 2005 Womens Twilight League winners were Geri Eastler, Karen Dorow, Marie Downing, Myrna Promer, Renee Goodman, Karen Groetz, Kay Wagner, and Anita DiPaolo. Most Improved Player was awarded to Kay Wagner.
